Welcome to the last month of the year

December is here and Christmas is only 25 days away. I wonder what musical goodies Santa is bringing everybody?

So, if you made any musical resolutions for 2006, such as learning all the modes of the harmonic minor scale or being able to solo in all keys, then you have one month to get cracking if you haven't finished!

Actually, I for one will be the first to say put the guitar down (ouch) a little more and enjoy the season. Spend time with family, watch the old Christmas shows you grew up watching, play guitar for for carolers , enjoy the brisk weather and above all, enjoy the happiness that is all around this time of year.

Then go practice some more!

More to come on making musical resolutions for the new year and how to keep them. Keep an eye out.

We usually start out with a few blues tunes to get everyone warmed up. However, right now, the jam sessions are open to students only. (hint hint)

Space is the biggest limitation right now. Maybe one day, in a bigger building, I can have open jam nights (blues, jazz, rock, etc). Right now, there is just not enough space to do a student/open jam session.
