Weekly Practice Party Update

Our first week is done and we had a total of 23 hours practice (with the exception of a couple of students that forgot to bring their sheet). This puts us on target to hit 185 hours for the eight weeks - not enough for the party!
So, this week, try to shoot for 5-10 more minutes of practice. After you've practiced your lesson material, do something fun like trying to pick out some of a song by ear, read a guitar/bass magazine and work on some of the lesson material in the magazine, surf the net for tabs and try to learn a song from tab, start writing that next platinum song you've got in your head, etc, etc, etc.
The point is, have fun with this extra time. My guess is that extra 5 minute may turn into another 20-30 minutes of practice.
