Eric Johnson Report
Subscribe to my feed! It’s free, easy to do and makes me happy!
So, where do I even start?
First, Eric is an incredible musician. He has tone and chops in spades. And the way he phrases his lines, with large interval jump, ultra-smooth (and very fast) runs, etc...Who could want anything more?
In addition to all that, he is a really cool guy too. A few of us "guitar groupies" hung out by his tour bus after the show. Eric, Roscoe and Tommy all came out and talked to us. I got one of Eric's picks and a nice autograph on my business card - right beside the guitar logo (yes, i'm getting the pick and autograph framed).
So, all of you can be jealous now LOL ... just kidding. Just don't think about using that pick during your lesson when you leave yours at home!
More to come on Eric soon, especially on his rig (he had a modest pedal board, Marshall Stack for dirty and two twins for clean, used his EJ Strat for the entire show - except for the acoustic part - it looked like a martin, not sure though).
