Well, I followed up my previous email and two phone calls with another email yesterday that referenced the previous attempts for status and my blog entry.

Guess what - still no response.

So, one of two thoughts occur,

1. They don't check that email unless you're wanting to spend money with them (i.e. ordering, requesting a catalog, etc.) Yes, I did select the appropriate category "order problems" ... so it should have routed to the correct group.

or

2. They simply feel they don't need to let me know what is going on with my order. They have my money, just make the customer wait and we'll get him his guitar eventually.

I've been doing some checking around other gear sites and from posters that have received their Carvins recently, none mentioned anything near the delay that I've had. In fact, most made the same comments i've read/heard many times with Carvins ... "The 6-7 week wait was so long, but boy am I glad I ordered". Well, I'm on week 12 and according to their estimates, even if the guitar leaves finishing and polishing today, I still have 1-2 weeks to wait.

Oh well, I'll call again today. More to come on the blog tomorrow.
