Cold hands slowing you down???

It's getting to be winter again. That means cold hands for all you musicians out there.

I hate sitting down to play with cold hands ... It just seems to take forever before my hands feel comfortable. And, if you only have limited time to practice, you don't want to use most of it just getting your hands warm.

Well, here is something cool for you. A Microwave Heating Bag. These cloth bags are filled with deer corn, feed or rice. You pop them in the microwave for a minute or so and you have a nice toasty bag to warm your hands up. Do this before practice for a minute or so and your hands will be ready to go once you grab your instrument.

You can buy these things online, but it's fun to make your own as well. The link below has more information on how make your own bag. (cut a pattern of a guitar out for the bag - that would be super cool!)
