Disclaimer: I am not a Poison hater. I actually enjoy their songs. Hair Metal, Pop Metal, Good Time Metal, whatever you want to call it, they crafted some nice tunes. Plus, you gotta love CC Deville. This guy plays with so much energy you think he's having the greatest time of his life every time you see him.
So, if you're wanting to get some good rock style solos out of your pentatonic scales, transcribe a few of CC's solos. " Every Rose Has Its Thorn" is a nice tune to start with.
Ok, so you now know (one of) my guilty pleasures - some good old Poison music!

Everything About Learning How To Play and Buy Guitars wrote:
There are dozens and dozens of different guitar chords which show themselves in different formations. Trying to memorize them in a single blow is close to impossible. Learning how to play guitar chords requires patience and lots of practice. Try practicing three chords that are can be played together (ex. A- E- D) on a single day and try to familiarize oneself with the transition between these chords. Don’ t try to take every chord in one sitting, it simply can’ t be done.

Their songs are good but quite annoying. But there are some songs that are nice to hear and the song has a message.
