Guitar Faces - Buddy Guy

One of my favorite blues players is Buddy Guy. To my ear, his music always had a little edge, a little more attitude, compared to his contemporaries like Freddie King, BB King, Luther Allison, etc.

A prime example is his 1991 tune " Damn right I've got the blues". One of the best opening lines ever, period, the end!

Plus, when you play a polka dot Strat - you know you're bad!

You can check out some of his more recent playing on the Eric Clapton Crossroads Festivals DVDs.

And if you didn't know who Buddy Guy was before today, then go now and enjoy the treasure you've found!

One of the greatest blues tunes ever! Attitude with a capital "T"! But--playable! The notes--not the 'tude, unless you're him.
