Ok, before you get your Winger hating on, let me just say that Reb Beach was one heck of a player.
So, if can get past Kip Wingers looks and over the top 80's bravado, take a listen to Reb's playing on Seventeen, Madalaine. Also, they did a version of Purple Haze that (Kip Winger aside) rocked!
Winger wrote some pop-metal songs that were actually catchy, I ain't gonna lie - as a 16 year old starting out guitar player, they had the cool guitar parts and the girls loved them some Kip Winger - so obviously, I took notes LOL!
But when you look at Reb's style and playing, he has some tricky parts that would be a good study to get under your fingers. Check them out with an open mind and see what you think!
