Robert Cray has been on the scene for a couple of decades now...
He's a guitar player's "guitar player", meaning, this guy is awesome but outside of the guitar player and blues community, very few people know about him.
And with great tunes like "Phone Booth", "Smoking Gun" and "I Guess I Showed Her", that's a shame.
If you've watched either of the Crossroads Guitar Festivals, you have seen Robert in action. He's got that classic Strat blues tone that just tears you up when you hear it. Really strong rhythm and he makes some of the best guitar faces around!

He is really a good guitar player and singer at the same time. Many people love to hear him singing because of his unique voice.
