"Before the Music Dies" - a must see movie for all musicians!

I was interviewed yesterday by the Canadian Press on my thoughts on Guitar Hero and what effect it has on the next generation of players (watch the blog, I'll post the article once it hits).

Brian and I were discussing the interview and he had several thoughts himself on Guitar Hero and similar games. His views reminded me of a movie I watched called "Before the Music Dies". The movie was a testimony to the current state of affairs in the music industry ... very enlightening!

If you have not seen the movie, do yourself a favor and watch it soon, then go practice and make great music!

Here is a clip to get you started - don't say we didn't warn ya'!

Before the Music Dies looks like a good one. Do you have it? What about setting up a showtime there at the studio? Or, can I check it out?

    I can't get this on netflix. :>(
Sounds like an interesting film and I'd check it out if you had it in the library. We were able to get Les Paul: Chasing Sound, and that was pretty interesting also. I learned a lot, though it didn't keep the boy's interest through the slow parts. I'd recommend it highly for adults.

I was ao annoyed and intrigued by the clip I ordered it through their website. I have promised loans to two people but will gladly share with the studio after.
