Ok folks, a lot of people thought Jimi Hendrix was strange when he hit the scene back in the 60's. They couldn't get past the hair, the clothes or the stage antics to see that he was just taking the blues into a new direction. Today, we look back with fondness on the innovation he brought to our instrument of choice.
Reader o' the week Trey sent the following video of Buckethead tearing it up on Computer Master.
Now, I'm not making a direct Jimi to Buckethead analogy, I'm just saying that if you look past the image and focus on the music, you'll enjoy what you hear. He's got chops from Venus, cool tone and the tune is rockin'!
