New Poll - Non Musicians, why did you not learn how to play a musical instrument?
Subscribe to my feed! It’s free, easy to do and makes me happy!
Hey Everyone!
--- This poll does not apply to you musicians out there ---
It is targeted to those that do not play, like parents, casual readers, entrecard friends, etc.
I'm interested in why more people do not play a musical instrument. Like our last poll on practicing, you can vote more than once in this poll if multiple answers apply!
Thanks!

Just a suggestion.
The groups you listed each require different marketing tactics, IMO. Market to parents by extolling the virtues of learning to read and play music, including the benefits of an increase in math/spatial abilities.
For others, I don't know, but wish you luck!

Well, I have started to learn to play the guitar, but I gave it up. I saw it's not that easy and took me a lot of time, especially as I am not that talented when it comes to art and patience. Thus I still would love to play the guitar...

I started several times in my time but gave up ever time after a few months for the poor progress made. I am now taking a dramatically different angle to it: I purchased guitar hero: lot of fun, but does it really qualify as music? At any rate, the most fun I ever had with music: learn and play!

Nice blog! I should start one about playing drums. I've been playing for about 30-years in the studio, on stage, etc. Anyhoo, keep it up!....M
