Announcing a new CBS show that is being cast as I type...

From Mark Burnett Productions, the creator of Survivor, comes a new reality based TV show where teams of musicians compete each week to create a jingle for a nationwide TV spot to be aired at the conclusion of the show. In addition, there is a $100,000 grand prize for the winning team.

The show, as you can guess, is named Jingles.

According to the email, the show will be a mix of "American Idol" and "Whose line is it anyway".

They also stress that musical talent will not be a determining factor as much as a quick wit and being able to work well under pressure - however - I'm sure that a little musical talent will definitely help!

Do you think you have what it takes to stand up to the pressure and show the world that you can create the catchiest jingle around?

Well if so, here is the contact information for the casting director of the show!

Good luck, and remember, give a shout out to Little Rock Jams when you win! I would love me some free promotion! Feelin' me?

I want to add few more words in your post. Jingles are simply advertisements. Simple songs about a product. This is one area that a musician will shy away from - until they find out how much money they can make writing jingles.

It's a very competitive field, but for those that have the creative chops, jingles can certainly be a goldmine.
