Hey guys!

I'm at Arkansas Governor's School for six weeks, so my posts won't have too much depth to them, but I'll try and dig up some pretty good information for ya'.

The main thing this time is the GH: World Tour controller, which has added quite a few more things this time around.

Guitar Hero World Tour Controller

The most noticeable change is the touch-sensitive portion below the regular five buttons.  This pretty much lets you finger tap like Eddie during the solos, or keep a sustained note while sliding it up and down that portion of the neck to get some pretty awesome sounds.  I'm expecting it to be easy to learn but difficult to master.

The Accelerometer (a.k.a. the tilt sensor) works as the star power sensor like always, but in the music making part of the game it doubles as the device that detects what pitch you want your notes to be.

The new bridge also works as a star power sensor if you want it to, but the main purpose is to put in palm muting when designing songs to get even more cool sounds, man if I wasn't a moron, I would say it's getting a little too close to the real thing!

Finally, check out the faux wood grain sunburst color ... it's getting closer and closer to the real thing (NOT)

Anyway, have a fun summer, and try to practice the real deal more!

Sooooooo......of all the GH games/bundles available (today!) for Wii, which one is the most satisfying/challenging for real guitar players?

For real guitar players? Probably none, real guitar players tend to look down on the game, which doesn't even come close to the complexity, yet the rich rewards, of the real thing. The hardest one of them all so far is probably GH III though. I can't really think that taking a step backwards would be that satisfying per se, but if a real guitar player would find that the oversimplification of it all a bit challenging, as well as all the visual notes flying at you at the harder levels.
