New Studio Update

I stopped in the new studio yesterday to see how the construction was coming. MWC had the framing all up and the electrical conduits run.
Unfortunately, there was no drywall in there or I would have started hanging it myself.
The new sign is going slower than I had hoped, but that's only because I want to be in there now!
We have a new teacher on board as well, Mr. David Dunavant, aka "The Professor". We call him that, well, because he is. He teaches at ASU/Beebe and up until a few days ago, UALR.
We're going to post his bio and samples to the website very soon.
We're looking at early August, first or second week, as our opening date.
We'll have an open house and jam session to kick it off.
I'll keep you posted.

It would be interesting to have an article here about the things you should be careful to when setting up a studio. Like how to isolate the recording room better, are there best practices, etc. it would be interesting, I think.

jam session! i wish i live close to were you guys are so i can come. unfortunately, i'm on the other side of the globe.
congratulations to the new teacher. you guys have the best job in the world. i'm a frustrated musician and all i can do now is admire people like you.
