Waka Winter Classic Battle of the Bands

So this is what I read a while back on www.myspace.com/wakawinterclassic:

"Have you ever wondered what it would feel like to play in front of thousands of people? Ever imagined rubbing elbows with your musical heroes? Ever considered the possibility that your music might be the next big thing? Well, the chance to transform your dreams into reality has arrived.

The Wakarusa Music Festival will be traveling to 20 cities this winter in a quest to locate the best and brightest musicians the country has to offer. At every stop on the tour several bands will compete in a regional talent showcase. The winner of each talent showcase as decided by the fans in attendance will receive an invitation to play at Wakarusa 2010 in our new location at Mulberry Mountain in Ozark, Arkansas!"

After reading that I thought
, "Well hell yes I'd like to do that!!"  So I submitted a press kit for my band Interstate Buffalo and BAM!!!  we're in the showcase!!!

Now I need your help because the band with the most votes on the night of the competition wins.  I know this is a pretty shameless self promotion, but I don't care.  Last year the Black Crowes headlined.  Plus, I got to watch Warren Haynes and Jimmy Herring perform.  This year they already have Blues Traveler and STS9 scheduled to play.  With your help, Interstate Buffalo will be there too!!

Here's the skinny:
