I look forward to your workshop about how to play your best at a jam session. When it comes to playing music and reading music, I've always learned very quickly, but jamming is another thing entirely. It's very difficult thinking on your feet like that.

Jamming not only requires skills but it also needs personality. Jamming is like an art, you need to constantly work on it to be better.

I agree with the previous commenter. I don't often jam these days and find that when I do, it's a lot more difficult than it used to be, though I think technically my playing's improved. Jamming is just a skill of its own, really.

Any jam sessions or workshops coming up?

I definitely agree with everyone else in that jamming/improvisation is often one of the most difficult skills to acquire in music. It can help to play along with backing tracks in different styles, but nothing can simulate jamming with a live band..and unfortunately not everyone has the luxury being able to jam with a group of cool friends on a regular basis.
